UV Sterilization Experts
We know health care facilities are required to, for accreditation purposes, implement an infection control program.
UV sterilization lamps are used worldwide to sanitize, disinfect and oxidize drinking water. We are Ultraviolet or UV Sterilization experts, by using our special UV lamps we maintain an environmentally friendly process of killing pathogens such as giardia bacterium and cryptosporidium. If your water becomes infected, the possibility of many elderly falling sick is high. Preventing this by implementing a UV sterilisation schedule with us is important to keep your residence safe from harmful illnesses found in contaminated water.
TMV - temperate control of hot water
If your involved in operating an aged care facility, you are probably familiar with the term - Thermostatic Mixing Valve. Commonly known as TMV’s these valves are used to regulate safe water temperatures to prevent scalding. The valve blends hot water with cold and ensures water doesn’t rise over the regulated temperature at the outlet
We know meeting the Australian legislation is important, complying with the standards that have been put in place to ensure the safety of the elderly is crucial. Please do not hesitate to contact us regarding your TMV needs. Routine inspections/ tests of the valves are designed to ensure any operation faults are found. If a TMV fault is found while being tested it will need to be replaced for compliance.
