TMV - temperate control of hot water
If your involved in operating an aged care facility, you are probably familiar with the term - Thermostatic Mixing Valve. Commonly known as TMV’s these valves are used to regulate safe water temperatures to prevent scalding. The valve blends hot water with cold and ensures water doesn’t rise over the regulated temperature at the outlet
We know meeting the Australian legislation is important, complying with the standards that have been put in place to ensure the safety of the elderly is crucial. Please do not hesitate to contact us regarding your TMV needs. Routine inspections/ tests of the valves are designed to ensure any operation faults are found. If a TMV fault is found while being tested it will need to be replaced for compliance.
